Here’s an important question I was asked recently…

In the City of Pasadena many people use surface streets to access the 134, 210 and 110 freeways or to transfer between those freeways impacting air quality.  What is your plan to address air quality problems associated with car emissions generated from this type of traffic in the City of Pasadena?

My answer?

I don’t claim to be an expert on air quality control, and no one in politics should do that!  That, to me, is one of the greatest problems we face on this important issue - politicians always try to dictate to the rest of us what’s going to be best, when they really don’t know either.

What I do know, is that air quality is an extremely important issue to Pasadena as our city grows - and what we need to do is have some experts from across the spectrum give us some recommendations.  At that point, the people of the city should decide what’s best.  Not me, not Bogaard, and not anyone in politics.  The people.

Awesome.

Pasadena Weekly Guest Column Tomorrow

I have a guest column being printed in tomorrow’s Pasadena Weekly.  Make sure you pick one up!

New article!

People may cast their votes based on what Aaron Proctor looks like. If they do, they will be making a grave mistake, no pun intended. Mr. Proctor wants a better Pasadena and he knows it is possible if the community elects him. He doesn’t differentiate one assemblage of the community over another. When he addresses the public he speaks to everyone in the community. He should be judged on his views and chosen for the position based on his fresh ideas to bring the city of Pasadena back to life.

Jim Lomako

I recant any previous statements I may have made, in a negative light, toward District 2 City Council candidate, Jim Lomako.

Actually, he’s pretty awesome.  I’m going to vote for him.

Seriously - coolest politician I ever met.

I sincerely apologized to Jim tonight at “Drinking Liberally” because I, honestly, had confused him with another candidate whom had made derogatory remarks against me.

So - yeah - Jim Lomako.  Google him and check out his website if you live in District 2.

To Jim - you’re awesome and, as the kids say, “my bad”.

Stand & Deliver.
