What the fuck?  You people here in the LA area are truly lucky.  You have your Lakers, your Dodgers, your Angels, your Kings, your former Rams, your former Raiders (which gangstas still think are in LA because of all the lame-ass Raider shit I see all the time out here), your USC, your UCLA…..tons of championships between most of them all…

What do I get?  Philly hasn’t had a World Championship in the four major sports since 1983.  I was 2 years old.  I don’t remember it.  Villanova won the college basketball championship in `85.  I was 4 years old.  YouTube reminds me of how awesome that was.  Phillies have only won one World Series - 1980 - a year before I was born.  The Eagles have never won a Super Bowl.  The Flyers won the Stanley Cup before I was born, too.
Eagles are looking like shit this year…76ers are looking like shit…Flyers are going to be more horrible than ever, I’m sure.

When can Philly get a break or will my sports hero always be the fictional Rocky Balboa?
